Identity theft seminar
MGH Police and Security will host "Safeguarding Your Identify from Theft" April 8, from 1 to 2 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. Bonnie Michelman, director of Police, Security and Outside Services, and members of the Special Investigative Unit, will talk about one of the fastest growing crimes in the country, how to spot the signs of identity theft and how to protect your identity.

Free weekend parking for MGH/PHS employees
MGH Parking and Commuter Services has announced that access to the Fruit Street and Parkman Street garages will be free for MGH/PHS employees using front garage access cards beginning April 2 at 6 pm. Employees with weekend access cards may park in the front garages at no charge weekdays from 6 pm to 9:30 am and on weekends from Friday at 6 pm to the next business day Monday unless an MGH holiday at 9:30 am. Employees with night access cards now will have weekend parking at no charge. Employees with both night and weekend access cards should use their weekend cards only as the night cards will be deactivated. Employees should turn in the deactivated night cards at the Fruit Street Parking Office. For more information, call the Parking Office at (617) 726-8886.

Psychiatry spring seminar
MGH Psychiatry will host a spring seminar about mental health and wellness Wednesday evenings March 31 to May 26, (except May 5) from 5:30 to 7 pm in
the Shriners Auditorium, 51 Blossom St. This program is open to the community and will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest research advances in psychiatry. Disabilities awareness seminar
The MGH Council on Disabilities Awareness and the Association of Multicultural Members of Partners will sponsor "Opening Doors: A Dialogue on Disability" April 5. A continental breakfast and information tables will be available from 9:15 to 10 am outside the O'Keeffe Auditorium, and the program will take place from 10 am to 12:45 pm in the O'Keeffe. This program will offer information about a variety of resources to help provide better access and a welcoming environment for all. Passover offering
The MGH Chaplaincy staff extends its best wishes to patients, families and staff who are celebrating the Jewish holiday of Passover, beginning at sunset April 5 and continuing through April 13. MGH Chaplaincy will celebrate Passover at the weekly Jewish Healing/Shabbat Service April 9 at 11 am at the MGH Chapel, located on Ellison 1. Holy Week services
The MGH Chaplaincy will offer the following services in the MGH Chapel during Holy Week. A Roman Catholic Mass will be held April 3 and 4 at 4 pm. Palms will be distributed on the morning of April 4 to inpatient units and will be available at both Masses. An Ecumenical prayer service will be held April 5, 6 and 7 at 12:15 pm, and a Roman Catholic Mass will be held at 4 pm. Ecumenical prayers for Holy Thursday will be held April 8 at 12:15 pm, followed by a Roman Catholic Mass of the Last Supper at 4 pm. A Good Friday Ecumenical service will be held April 9 from noon to 3 pm, and a Roman Catholic Passion of the Lord and Holy Communion service will be held at 4 pm. A Roman Catholic Easter Vigil Mass will be held April 10 at 7 pm. An Ecumenical Easter Service with Communion will be held April 11 at 1 pm and a Roman Catholic Easter Sunday Mass will be held at 4 pm. Blood donor center hours
The MGH Blood Donor Center will be staying open an hour later on Tuesdays beginning in April. Appointments for blood donations can be made Tuesdays, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and on Monday and Wednesday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. To schedule an appointment, call (617) 726-8177.
