Anyone
need a taxi? There will be no more waiting for a taxicab at MassGeneral Hospital for Children thanks to a donation from Jordan's Furniture. And what do taxis have to do with furniture? The furniture retail company, known for its generosity to local charities, donated a fleet of 24 yellow, taxi-shaped push carts to the hospital to make transport between tests and appointments more enjoyable for young patients. But the generosity didn't end there. Thanks to a team effort by MGH Buildings and Grounds staff (shown at above right), the 24 carts were assembled within one day so that parents and clinicians could use them as soon as possible. Barry and Eliot Tatelman (shown at bottom right), familiar faces from Jordan's Furniture ads, made a special visit to Ellison 17 on Monday to present the taxis to MassGeneral Hospital for Children staff, patients and visitors.
