April vacation club
The MGH Backup Child Care Center will sponsor a school-age vacation club, April 20 to 23, from 7:30 am to 6 pm, for employees' children from 6 to 12 years old. Reservations will be taken by phone and in person at the Backup Child Care Center beginning March 8 at 7 am. The cost per child for four days is $220 or $60 per child per day. National Women's Month presentation
The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners in honor of National Women's Month will sponsor "Women - Inspiring Hope and Possibility" March 11, from noon to 1 pm, in the Trustees Room, Bulfinch 225A. The guest speaker will be Jeanette Ives Erickson, RN, MS, senior vice president for MGH Patient Care Services and chief nurse.

Spring 2004 computer training schedule
Partners Information Systems Training has now released the Spring Computer Workshop training schedule for Microsoft Office 2000 applications. All classes will be held at the MGH Training and Workforce Development office, located at 100 Charles River Plaza. Bikers wanted for Granite State Quest
The second annual Granite State Quest, a one-day 100-mile bicycle ride throughout southern New Hampshire, will take place June 27. All proceeds will support MassGeneral CancerCare for Children. National Patient Safety Awareness Week
The MGH Office of Quality and Patient Safety is recognizing National Patient Safety Awareness Week March 7 to 13. Posters will be located throughout the Main Corridor focusing on "The Five Steps to Safer Health Care." For more information, call (617) 724-0324.

Mass General Imaging Chelsea opens new location
Mass General Imaging Chelsea recently held a grand opening for its new location at 80 Everett Ave., Chelsea, MA. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 11 pm; Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 7 pm. To schedule an appointment, call (617) 724-XRAY.
