"Simply the best" is how Jeannette Ives Erickson, RN, MS, senior vice president for Patient Care Services and chief nurse, describes the newly revamped Patient Care Services (PCS) website.

Launched Feb. 20, the website was designed with a mandate from Ives Erickson to develop the "best patient care website in the country." The new site can be found at www.mghpcs.org at www.mghnursing.org or on the MGH homepage at www2.massgeneral.org by selecting "Departments and Program" and then "Patient Care Services."

The goals of the new website are to assist in the recruitment of PCS staff, showcase how care is delivered within the department, profile PCS departments and personnel and provide a method of internal communications for PCS staff.

The new website features 300 pages, approximately 5,100 links, 570 external links, 210 photographs, 110 profiles and many photos of PCS staff members.
