Happening Marathon
training clinic
The MGH will sponsor "Running with a
Purpose," a comprehensive marathon training clinic, Feb. 9, from 10 am to noon in the
Wellman Conference Room. Topics will include general training principles, strengthening
and conditioning, common training injuries and other relevant issues. The clinic also will
feature guest speaker and triathlete Karen Smyers. For more information or to register,

Radiologic
technologist conference
The Massachusetts Society of Radiologic
Technologists (MSRT) will host its annual Boston District Conference Feb.
16, from 8 am to 4 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Topics will include
"Renal Imaging,""Radiation Protection," "Imaging
the Difficult Patient" and more. Technologists can obtain continuing
education credits by attending the conference. The fee is $65 for MSRT
members and $95 — which includes membership — for all others.

Timilty Partnership
pen pals wanted
The MGH/Timilty Partnership
invites MGH employees to participate in the James P. Timilty Middle School's Promising
Pals program. Participants will exchange letters or e-mails with Timilty students at least
