The
iBridge project: Change in paychecks Changes already are under way for the implementation of the iBridge project at the MGH, which began Feb. 1. The iBridge project is the human resources, payroll and timekeeping system that will allow Partners and its member organizations to be connected through a fully integrated web-based process. One of the first differences that employees will notice is the new look of their paychecks and direct deposit advices (stubs). Paychecks still will be in a self-seal format, but now will feature more details.
The deductions category will be grouped by type, such as before-tax, after-tax and other deductions. Employees should note that the deduction amounts may have changed slightly because of a new calculation method. The rate of pay also will be shown to six decimal places. Samples of the new checks were sent to employees this week, and the actual paychecks and direct deposit advices will be distributed Feb. 7. For more information about the new paychecks, employees are encouraged to talk to their department timekeeper or manager. |
