  • Illuminating a lesson and a legacy: Julian Bond visits the MGH
    As MGH and Partners employees filed into the O'Keeffe Auditorium Jan. 25, they were faced with a daunting task: finding an empty seat for a presentation by Julian Bond, PhD, featured guest speaker at the Partners and MGH celebration of the legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
  • 2002 Claflin Distinguished Scholar Awards applications available
    Applications for the 2002 Claflin Distinguihsed Scholar Awards now are available for junior faculty members interested in supplemental funding for research. Sponsored by the Executive Committee on Research and the MGH Office for Women's Careers, the awards provide funding for junior faculty to sustain research productivity during their child-rearing years.
  • The iBridge project: Change in paychecks
    Changes already are under way for the implementation of the iBridge project at the MGH, which began Feb. 1. The iBridge project is the human resources, payroll and timekeeping system that will allow Partners and its member organizations to be connected through a fully integrated web-based process.
  • In memoriam: Charles Weingarten, MD
    Charles Weingarten, MD, of MGH Medicine and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH), died Jan. 6 after a long battle with lymphoma. All colleagues and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in Weingarten's honor Feb. 4, at 1 pm in the eighth floor chapel at SRH.
