Work/life seminar
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will sponsor a work/life seminar "Healthy Relationships" Feb. 13, from noon to 1 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. The seminar will help participants identify the indicators of healthy and unhealthy relationships and also provide guidance in defining and meeting their needs in relationships. Blood donations needed
Because of an increased need for blood components, the MGH Blood Donor Center would like to encourage MGHers to donate blood. Blood donations are at an all-time low. To make an appointment, call (617) 726-8177.

CAG seminar
The Clinical Advisory Group — Information Systems (CAG) will offer a forum open to all clinicians Feb. 3, from 5 to 7:30 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. Issues concerning the clinical community will be addressed. For more information, call (617) 724-9910.

Faculty seminar series
The Department of Medicine Academic Council will present the first in its faculty seminar series entitled, "How to Write a Grant — Fellows and Beginning Scientists"" Feb. 12, from 4 to 5:30 pm in the Ether Dome on Bulfinch 4. The discussion will include strategies for timing and preparation for independent grants, NIH structure, federal funding vs. private foundations and industry resources. Registration is not necessary.
