Hood helps hit a home run The Boston Red Sox may not have won the World Series but they're still champions to the patients of MassGeneral Hospital for Children. The Hood Home Team Advantage Program, which teams up HP Hood, Inc. with the Boston Red Sox, supports children's hospitals throughout New England by donating a certain amount of money — $200 during the American League Division Series and $300 during the Championship Series — for every home run, double play and strikeout by the Red Sox at Fenway Park.
The Hood Home Team Advantage Program raised $75,500 this year to be distributed to 13 children's hospitals, and a total of $225,000 has been raised in the three years the program has existed. |
