EAP work/life seminar
The MGH Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will sponsor an eldercare planning seminar Feb. 14, from noon to 1 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. Barbara Moscowitz, LICSW, of MGH Senior Health, will discuss the considerations and decisions facing elderly relatives and their family caregivers. Topics will include types of care, living options and planning ahead for the best available assistance. For more information, call the EAP at (617) 726-6976.

Nutrition grand rounds
Walter C. Willett, MD, Harvard School of Public Health professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition and chairman of the Department of Nutrition, will present "Controversies and Science: Looking at the Food Guide Pyramid" in a special MGH Nutrition grand rounds Jan. 29. The session will be held at 2 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium, with a reception to follow. For more information, contact Martha Lynch, MS, RD, at (617) 726-2587.

Bloodmobile at CNY
In observance of National Blood Donor Awareness Month, the MGH Bloodmobile will be at CNY Building 149 Jan. 30, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. To make an appointment to donate blood, call Susan Murphy at (617) 724-6518 or send e-mail to smurphy4@partners.org. Each donor will receive a free T-shirt. Future blood donation opportunities at CNY will take place March 27, May 22, July 24, Sept. 25 and Nov. 20.

Timilty Science Fair judges wanted
The MGH/Timilty Partnership is looking for employee volunteers to serve as judges at the annual James P. Timilty Middle School science fair, Feb. 11 through 14, from 9 to 11 am. Volunteers may sign up for a two-hour judging shift on one or more of the available days. No science background is necessary, and round-trip transportation will be available.
