MGHer becomes Hall of Famer

The National Restaurant Association recently inducted Helen Doherty, RD, FMP, director of MGH Food and Nutrition Services, into the 2002 Massachusetts Hospitality Hall of Fame. Left, Doherty pictured with Xavier Teixido, chairman of the board of directors for the National Restaurant Association.

Doherty was presented with the award at the 13th annual Massachusetts Hospitality Hall of Fame awards dinner Nov. 18 at Anthony's Pier 4. Doherty was inducted along with representatives of Naked Fish Restaurants, Hilltop Steak House and Paul W. Marks Co.

The Massachusetts Hospitality Hall of Fame was established by the association to recognize individuals who have exhibited extraordinary dedication to the hospitality industry in Massachusetts.
