MGH staff
get a little TLC
Feelings
of stress and tension melted away from MGHers in the Ellison 17 Family
Room Jan. 9 as MassGeneral
Hospital for Children employees and staff members were pampered with
a "Massage Day." The MGH Pediatric Clinical Performance Management
Team sponsored the event with money won through a poster contest. "We
wanted to show our appreciation to an amazing staff who work day in and
day out with children and thank them for the hard work they do,"
says Debjani Banerji, of MGH Decision Support and Quality Management.
More than 60 employees enjoyed 15-minute chair massages given by four
masseuses from the "Backstroke Project," a massage therapy school.
