Timilty staff start the new year with blood donations

The MGH/Timilty Partnership staff met their new year's resolutions by donating blood to the MGH Blood Donor Center recently. The Partnership recruited teachers and other staff from the James P. Timilty Middle School to join program volunteers in the MGH employee blood drive to donate during the winter months when blood donation often is low. In return for the staff's good will, representatives from the MGH Blood Donor Center visited a sixth grade health class at the school to talk about the circulatory system and the importance of blood donation.
