Margie Smith, MSW, of MGH Social Services, (in front) sang "We Shall Overcome" as MGHers joined hands in celebration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event was sponsored by the Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) Jan. 14 at the MGH. Ronald Greene, RN, AMMP chair, Smith, and Fr. Michael McElhinny kicked off the celebration with a musical selection and invocation. Speakers included Lorna Prince, RN, MS, of Patient Care Services, Jeff Davis, senior vice president for Human Resources, and Peter Slavin, MD, CEO of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization.
