Luther King Day celebrations MGH employees and staff are invited to "A Celebration of the Legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.," Jan. 25, at 9 am in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Julian Bond — a noted writer, speaker and civil rights activist who serves as chair of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People — will speak at the event. Bond also will speak the same day in the Cabot Atrium at BWH, from 3 to 4 pm. Admission to both celebrations is free, and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
