Financial assistance for future education MGH employees who want to further their careers by taking advantage of educational and training opportunities can receive financial assistance through the MGH Tuition Reimbursement Program. Employees are eligible for the program after completing six months of continuous employment. To participate, employees may submit an application to the MGH Training Office at Charles River Plaza prior to starting a class. The employee must be enrolled in a degree or certificate program at an accredited institution. Approval is required prior to the start of class, and reimbursement is paid at the completion of the class. Employees also must submit an acceptance letter from the school for the degree or certificate program into which they are enrolled, as well as a course description and cost-per-credit schedule from the school's catalog. Managers and supervisors are encouraged to become familiar with the policy, which is located online at http://is.partners.org/hr/affiliates/ or call (617) 726-2230 for more information. |
