Celebrating
MassGeneral Hospital for Children As of Jan. 1, the MGH Pediatrics Department has changed its name to MassGeneral
Hospital for Children. This name change is meant to better convey to the public that A multi-media awareness campaign has been launched to reaffirm the program's mission to provide excellent, state-of-the-art, personalized, family-centered care. Full-page advertisements are appearing in the Boston Parents Paper and the zoned editions of the Sunday Boston Globe throughout the year. Radio advertisements also are being aired on many local stations. In addition, a new web site will be launched, and multiple communications will be initiated with referring community physicians. To celebrate the program's new identity, MassGeneral Hospital for Children will host a celebration for patients, family and staff Jan. 13, 3:30 to 5:30 pm in the WACC lobby, including refreshments, entertainment and a special dedication ceremony. |
