Eldercare discussion group
The Employee Assistance Program will host its monthly eldercare discussion group Feb. 27, from noon to 1 pm in the Yawkey Center, Room 10650. For more information, visit www.eap.partners.org or call (617) 726-6976.

Domestic violence support group
The Employee Assistance Program will offer a confidential, 10-week domestic violence education and support group Thursdays, beginning March 1, from 4:30 to 6 pm. For more information and meeting location, call (617) 726-6976.

Atrial Fibrillation Patient Education Day
The MGH Cardiac Arrhythmia Service and the Atrial Fibrillation Foundation will co-host the fifth annual Patient Education Day March 3, from 8:30 am to 2 pm at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. Sign-in will begin at 7:45 am. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served. Preregistration is required. Innovation in Care seminar series
The MGH Ambulatory Practice of the Future and the John D. Stoeckle Center for Primary Care Innovation will kick off its 2007 seminar series with the theme "Innovation in Care." The first lecture in the series will be "Improving the Health Care Experience Through Innovation and Design," Feb. 28, from 4 to 5 pm in the Yawkey Center, Room 10660. National Patient Safety Awareness Week
National Patient Safety Awareness Week will be held March 4 through 10. The MGH Office of Quality and Safety will celebrate by distributing "Five Steps to Safer Health Care" bookmarks to patients, staff, employees and visitors. The bookmarks are in several languages and will be available at information desks throughout the hospital. For more information, call Katie Farraher at (617) 726-4709.

CFD noontime learning series

The MGH Center for Faculty Development's (CFD) noontime learning series and the Harvard Medical Center Office of Work and Family will offer "Modern Dads: The New Job Description for Fatherhood in America" March 7, from noon to 1:30 pm in the Yawkey Center, Room 10660. Guest speaker John Badalament, EdM, will discuss issues such as how expectations for dads have changed today and what it means to be a good father. Cell sorting and analysis services available
The Flow Cytometry Facility at the Cutaneous Biology Research Center currently has time available to provide cell sorting and analysis services to the MGH research community. The center is located at CNY 149. For more information or a

Burn Unit benefit
A benefit performance of "Joey and Maria's Comedy Italian Wedding" and buffet dinner will be held March 23 at 7 pm at the Florian Hall in Dorchester. Tickets are $50 per person and $500 for a table of 10.
