Edgman-Levitan co-chairs Patient Safety Congress

Susan Edgman-Levitan, PA, executive director of the MGH's John D. Stoeckle Center for Primary Care Innovation, recently served as co-chair of the National Patient Safety Foundation's 8th Annual Patient Safety Congress in San Francisco. More than 1,400 guests from around the world attended this annual event that included national and international patient safety experts, health care providers, researchers, patients and family representatives. Participants learned about successful strategies to promote patient safety across the continuum of the health care system.
