Tracers: like treasure maps

The latest poster in the FYI poster series was distributed throughout the hospital this week to illustrate the new tracer method that the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) will use during the upcoming, unannounced survey. As part of this new method, JCAHO surveyors will select patients who have gone through a variety of services at the hospital and "trace" their journey through the process of care.
