honors MGH nursing Magnet status
The MGH has been honored for its 2003 designation as a Magnet nursing
hospital with an appearance in the inaugural 2006 issue of the Magnet
Recognition Program's annual calendar. Magnet recognition is given by
the American Nurses Credentialing Center to hospitals based on their ability
to attract and retain top-level nursing staff. The MGH — the first
hospital in Massachusetts to receive nursing M agnet
status — is recognized with a photograph for January featuring Katie
Fallon, RN, of Ellison 20 and a recipient of the 2004 Thomas S. Durant,
MD, Fellowship in Refugee Medicine (shown at left). To download
