Be Fit Survivors Club continues to grow MGHers from the Cancer Center, Radiology, Cardiology, Research, Police and Security and the X-halers team MGHers who want to quit smoking officially became Be Fit survivors Nov. 29 after graduating from Phase III of the program. The Be Fit program is sponsored by The Clubs at Charles River Park and MGH Nutrition and Food Services, and helps six teams of MGH employees embark on a lifelong journey of living a healthier lifestyle by eating nutritious meals and exercising.

team With help and support from assigned personal trainers and registered dietitians, the six teams from Phase III lost 430 pounds during the 10-week program, worked out a total of 3,571 times and consumed 1,157 Be Fit meals. "Everyone here is a winner because you are all losers losing weight that is," said Brill-Daley. "We hope these last 10 weeks have inspired you to stay on the road to health and wellness through exercise and eating right." |
