When it comes to the flu caring means not sharing MGH Occupational Health Services once again will sponsor the annual flu clinic campaign for all MGH and Partners employees, staff and volunteers. This year's campaign will kick off with a weeklong flu vaccination clinic beginning Oct. 24. All employees, staff and volunteers are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated; however, all are reminded that vaccination is only one method of illness prevention. Stop the spread of germs by always covering the mouth and nose when sneezing and coughing, and keep hands clean by regularly washing with soap and water or by using an alcohol-based hand cleaner such as Cal Stat. Below are clinic dates and locations: MGH main campus Main Corridor Somerville location CNY Building 149 One Constitution Center Vaccines also will be offered on patient care units through peer vaccination. For more information, contact the unit's flu champion or nurse manager. To be vaccinated, MGHers should bring their ID badges and wear clothing that rolls easily up to the top of the arm. For those unable to attend the clinics, call Occupational Health Services at (617) 726-2217 to schedule an appointment. |
