MGH wage and salary program announced

The MGH this week announced the fiscal year 2006 wage and salary program effective Sept. 25 that includes a performance-based increase ranging up to 4 percent. This year's General Hospital program is funded at 3 percent. Those who are above the maximum of their pay range are eligible for a bonus of up to 3 percent. A completed performance appraisal is required before any increase or bonus is processed.

The Massachusetts General Physicians Organization is using a similar approach. Practices will make decisions about increases based on their financial ability to participate in this program. Employees and staff who have questions about the wage and salary program are encouraged to speak to their supervisors.
