Reflections,
healing and hope
The
MGH
Chaplaincy Department and MGH Administration held a healing service
Sept. 7 in the O'Keeffe Auditorium in support of those who have been affected
by Hurricane Katrina. The service included an invocation, a reading of
Psalm 61 and inspirational readings. The MGH chaplains, along with Peter
L. Slavin, MD, president of the MGH; Jeff Davis, senior vice president
for Human Resources; Jeanette Ives Erickson, RN, MS, senior vice president
for Patient Care Services and chief nurse; and David F. Torchiana, MD,
chairman and CEO of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization,
participated in the service. Above,
