MGHers
with heart
A group of MGHers who want to make a difference for those who suffer from
heart disease will be participating in the 2005 American Heart Association's
(AHA) Boston Heart Walk, Sept. 17 at 10 am at the Hatch Memorial Shell
on the Charles River Esplanade. Much of the cardiovascular research conducted
at the MGH is supported by funds raised by the AHA. Last year, the MGH
was the top fundraising hospital. This year, the top 15 MGHers who raise
the most money for the Heart Walk will receive a pair of tickets to see
a New England Patriots home game. For more information or to sign up for
the walk, visit http://heartwalk.kintera.org/bostonma/teamsusantowler
or send e-mail to stowler@partners.org.
