Images receives a makeover

With the completion of the Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care, Images Hair and Skin Care Center — currently located in the Cox corridor — has divided into two locations to better serve patients and staff at the hospital. The new Images Boutique, located on Yawkey 9, carries hats for both pediatric and adult cancer patients, wigs, apparel for women who have had a mastectomy, gloves, scarves, skin care products and jewelry. The boutique is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 6 pm.

The hair salon in the Cox Corridor, now referred to as the General Hair Care Salon, is still a full-service beauty salon with private rooms for services including hair coloring, eyebrow waxing, manicures and pedicures. The salon is open Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm.

Throughout the month of March, all MGH employees will receive a 20 percent discount on products at the salon.
