Images hosts first
fashion show MGHers may catch the latest styles in clothing, swimsuits and skin care as Images, the MGH Hair and Skin Care Center, hosts its first fashion show Sept. 24, 3:30 to 5:30 pm, in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. The event, "Fashion and Designs for 1999," is targeted to women with cancer. The show will feature specialty lines by Ann Taylor and Aveda skin care products, as well as swimsuits and breast prostheses by Amoena. After models stroll the runway, consultants for skin care and prostheses fittings will be available for appointments. Images opened in June in conjunction with the dedication of the MGH Gillette Center for Women's Cancers. The full-service salon caters to the special needs of people affected by cancer, before and after treatment. Images offers such products and services as hairpieces, scarves, lymphedema sleeves and breast prostheses, as well as make-up consultation and skin care products made especially for oncology patients. Hairstyling services also are available for MGH employees and other patients. To register for this free event, call (800) 320-0022. For other information or to make an appointment, call Images at 6-3211. |
