creates new Center of Excellence in Women's Health Harvard Medical School recently received a contract from
the US Department of Health and Human Services to establish a National Center of
Excellence in Women's Health in collaboration with the MGH and its health centers, BWH and
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

study finds first genetic clues to brain tumor treatment A team of researchers from the MGH and the London
(Ontario) Regional Cancer Centre have discovered genetic changes that indicate whether
chemotherapy would be effective in treating anaplastic oligodendrogliomas, a particular
type of brain tumor.
