  • Collaboration creates new Center of Excellence in Women's Health
    Harvard Medical School recently received a contract from the US Department of Health and Human Services to establish a National Center of Excellence in Women's Health in collaboration with the MGH and its health centers, BWH and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
  • Ether Day honors MGHers
    The MGH celebrates Ether Day Oct. 16, honoring 1,314 employees and staff who have worked at the hospital for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 and 60 years.
  • AMMP hosts Latino festivities
    While savoring zesty Latin cuisine, MGH and Partners employees gathered Oct. 8 to celebrate Latino Month at a luncheon sponsored by AMMP.
  • Test your infection control IQ
    In recognition of Infection Control Week, Oct. 17 to 24, the Infection Control Unit will host an information exhibit in the Central Lobby, Oct. 19 to 23, 11:30 am to 1 pm.
  • New teleconference room dedicated
    A new cardiology teleconference room located on Blake 1 was dedicated Oct. 10 in memory of Edgar Haber, MD, the former chief of Cardiology at the MGH, who died in 1997.
