Blood Donor Center raffle
Any blood donor who gives blood at the MGH Blood Donor Center or the MGH Bloodmobile until Jan. 14 will be entered into a drawing for two free airline tickets courtesy of JetBlue Airlines. JetBlue offers service out of Boston's Logan Airport to a variety of destinations including multiple places in Florida and California, Las Vegas, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. CNY blood drive
MGH employees working at CNY are invited to participate in a blood drive Jan. 5, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. The MGH Bloodmobile will be located on Thirteenth St., between Building 149 and the garage. For more information

MGH Parking Office notice on garage repairs
Repairs to the Fruit and Parkman Street garages will be performed this week. Vehicles will be able to exit at any time. Entrance to the garages will be restricted to the following schedule: One half of the Fruit Street garage will close at midnight Dec. 26, after the arrival of the night shift. The entire Fruit Street garage will close at midnight Dec. 27. One half of the Parkman Street garage will close at midnight Dec. 28. The entire Parkman Street garage will close at midnight Dec. 29. Evening- and night-shift staff should use their access cards in either the Fruit or Parkman Street garages. Should space be unavailable, evening- and night-shift employees may park in the Yawkey garage by pulling a ticket and showing their MGH ID badge to the cashier with their ticket upon exit. Ethics Task Force forum
The MGH Ethics Task Force will sponsor "Family Presence During Resuscitation: Exploring the Practice From an Ethical Perspective" Jan. 14, from noon to 1 pm in the Walcott Conference Rooms. Martin Luther King Day events
The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) will sponsor "Living the Dream: A Tribute to the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." Jan. 14, from 8 to 9 am in the East Garden Dining Room. The event will feature musical performances by Athene Wilson-Glover and Rollins Ross and personal reflections from MGH employees. For more information, call Shea Sherrod Asfaw at (617) 726-1281.

Partners HealthCare will sponsor "A Celebration of the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." Jan. 28, from 9 to 10 am in the O'Keeffe Auditorium, featuring Alvin F. Poussaint, MD, an author, psychiatrist, educator and respected social critic. A reception will immediately follow in the Trustees Room. Admission is free, and no tickets are required. History of Radiation Oncology Department
Herman Suit, MD, of the MGH Radiation Oncology Department, will give a lecture titled "The History of the MGH Radiation Oncology Department: Part I, up to 1900" Jan. 4, from 5 to 6:30 pm in the Ether Dome.
