The MGH recently was selected for the Solucient 100 Top Hospitals recognition. The Solucient Institute is an organization that annually analyzes publicly available data from more than 5,600 acute general hospitals around the country. The study scores facilities on measures such as risk-adjusted mortality, average length of stay, expenses, profitability and quality data. Salem Hospital, a member of Partners, also was included on the list. The study and award winners are featured in the December issue of Modern Healthcare magazine.
