A rising star in health care management

Sally Mason Boemer, vice president for MGH Finance, recently was named a 2002 "up and comer in health care management for executives under 40" by Modern Healthcare magazine.

According to Modern Healthcare, Mason Boemer was chosen for her ability to boost collections, manage payer contracts, direct cost-cutting teams, discuss complex finance issues in plain English and strike the right balance between toughness and flexibility.
