MGH researcher sheds light on Alzheimer’s disease in new book

Rudolph Tanzi, PhD, director of the MGH Genetics and Aging Unit, has made his mark in the world of Alzheimer’s not only as a renowned researcher but now as an author of a new book called Decoding Darkness: The Search for the Genetic Causes of Alzheimer’s Disease. Tanzi and co-author Ann Parson were the guests of honor at a recent book-signing event held at the MGH.

Tanzi and Parson chronicle the progress of various medical research projects seeking to find the genetic cause of Alzheimer’s dementia, and discuss the ongoing quest for its prevention and cure. Decoding Darkness is available in the MGH General Store.
