Families, friends and caregivers of MGH pediatric patients gathered for the ninth annual Pediatric Memorial Service Nov. 4. The special ceremony was sponsored by MassGeneral Hospital for Children's Pediatric, Neonatal and Obstetric Bereavement Program.

The event is meant to provide comfort and support to those who have experienced the loss of a child. The service included poetry readings by family members, presentations by MGH staff and musical performances by the St. Florence Choir and the Wakefield Repertory Theatre.
