PeopleSoft
University The MGH Supplies and Purchased Services Task Force will offer a series of training sessions as part of the MGH PeopleSoft University (PSU) beginning Dec. 1. Courses include "An Overview of PeopleSoft," "How to Buy Anything at the MGH," and "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Reports." PeopleSoft is the software that has been used to run the Materials Management, Accounts Payable and General Ledger systems at the MGH since April 1998. MGH PSU is a series of training sessions to help MGHers learn about using PeopleSoft. PSU instructional sessions were designed and will be facilitated by a team of experts from Materials Management, Accounts Payable, Finance and experienced "end users" from across the MGH community. Each department at the MGH is responsible for cost containment, and PeopleSoft is a tool that helps those who do the ordering and tracking to meet fiscal goals. PSU will give users the knowledge and skills to use this tool. For more information about PSU, call Deb Conlon at 6-8966 or send e-mail to Partners Training at training@partners.org |
