Quilts
help comfort patients
Colorful quilts brightened up the Main Corridor when the MGH Comforters
- a
volunteer group of MGH employees and volunteers who enjoy quilting - displayed
their creations Oct. 21. The quilts were then donated to the MGH
Northeast Proton Therapy Center to be given to pediatric patients
with cancer and their siblings. The group, which meets a couple of times
each month, made 41 quilts to bring comfort to those who are sick and
their families.
