• Granting more time with families: The Office for Women's Careers support women faculty
  With the generoristy of an anonymous donor, the MGH Office for Women's Careers has created a new grant that will allow two MGH femal staff members to continue their research efforts while raising children.

• Study finds key link between Alzheimer's genes and cellular defect
  An MGH-based research team has linked two cellular abnormalities associated with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The findings identify a new target for drugs that may prevent or treat the devastating disease.

• MGH hosts dinner for the Endowment for the Advancement of Psychotherapy
  The mgh hosted a special dinner to mark the founding of the Endowment for the Advancement of Psychotherapy Sept. 27 at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Cambridge.

• Oncology nursing awards
  The second annual Marie C. Petrilli Oncology Nursing Awards recently were presented to three MGH nurses in recognition of the high level of care reflected in their nursing care of oncology patients.
