Patriots kickoff: MGHers raise money through silent auction It has been an exciting couple of weeks around the hospital for New England Patriots fans. First, the home team won its first game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts, and then MGHers had the opportunity to bid on authentic, autographed Patriots merchandise during three separate week-long silent auctions.
The winners of the silent auctions are Susan O'Donnell, RN, of MGH Nursing, who won a helmet autographed by linebacker Tedy Bruschi; Kathy Myers, RN, from MGH Nursing, who won a football also autographed by Bruschi; and Donna Janas, of MGH Psychiatry, who won the coveted prize of a Patriots jersey signed by quarterback Tom Brady.
