    When Shirley Stone of Sanford, Maine arrived at the MGH Aug. 30, she had no idea whether her hand — which had been completely severed —   could be saved. But after a 14-hour operation, Stone has movement in her hand, and it is likely to regain full function.
  • MGH media guidelines
    As a world-renowned leader in health care, teaching and research, the MGH attracts substantial media attention. The MGH Public Affairs Office is responsible for overseeing the hospital's media relations program, and each member of the MGH community plays an important role in ensuring the program's quality and effectiveness.
  • AMMP scholarships awarded
    Wanda Velazquez of MGH Community Benefits, was one of nine employees from Partners institutions to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP). The annual scholarships help minority employees of Partners HealthCare System to pursue their education. Recipients were honored at a luncheon Sept. 1.
