Spanish for Health Care class registration
Registration begins Aug. 26 for "Spanish for Health Care," a class sponsored by MGH Human Resources and Partners Corporate Training. Classes begin the week of Sept. 30. Four levels of Spanish are offered, including a beginners class for those who have never studied the language, as well as more advanced levels. The cost of the 10-week course is $50 and must be paid at time of registration. Registration is at 185 Charles River Plaza, second floor. Hormone replacement therapy symposium
The MGH Vincent Memorial Hospital Trustees and the MGH Cancer Center are sponsoring a symposium discussing the new developments in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) Sept. 4 at 5:30 pm under the Bulfinch Tent. Sept. 11 memorial service
A memorial service will be held Sept. 11, from 11:30 am to noon in the O'Keeffe Auditorium to recognize the one-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Patients, families and staff are invited to attend the service, which will include participants from a variety of religious traditions. Ethics forum
An ethics forum entitled "Four Points to None: Current Ethical Considerations in the Use of Restraints," will be held Sept. 13, from noon to 1 pm in the Sweet Conference Room on Bigelow 4, room 432. The forum will be moderated by Alexandra F.M. Cist, MD, from the Ethics Task Force. Beverages and dessert will be served. For more information, send e-mail to acist@partners.org

Senior HealthWISE seminar
The MGH Senior Supper Club HealthWISE seminar series will offer an educational seminar "Keeping Your Heart Healthy in 2002" Aug. 26, from 4 to 5 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. The seminar will be presented by Dorothy Noyes, NP, of the MGH Nursing Department. Admission is free. For more information, call (617) 724-6756.

Bowling league recruiting new members
The Partners HealthCare Candlepin Bowling League will begin the 2002/2003 season Sept. 5 at Ryan's Family Amusements near Fenway Park. New members from the MGH are welcome. MGPO quarterly meeting
The Massachusetts General Physicians Organization (MGPO) will hold its quarterly meeting Sept. 5, from 5 to 6:30 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium.
