The MGH Blood Donor Center Employee Appreciation Weeks began this week with a flip of a pancake and a soothing stress-relieving massage. Donors were treated to a pancake breakfast Aug. 19, complete with sweet syrup and whipped cream. They were treated to a relaxing massage Aug. 20 by student Michelle Yau (at right) from the Massage Institute of New England who soothed away any post-donation stresses. The Appreciation Weeks celebration is an opportunity for the Blood Donor Center to thank MGH employees for their ongoing dedication to the blood donor program. Other activities planned during the three-week series of events include a blood donor carnival, a pizza party, prizes, raffles and much more.
