More than 35,000 people visited the annual Latin American Festival, sponsored by the Latin American Cultural Association at the Mystic Mall in Chelsea, Aug. 6, 7 and 8. As a major sponsor of the event, the MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center had a strong presence at the festival with information tables, health screenings, safety demonstrations, raffles and a first aid booth.
"This was the biggest turnout we have ever had at the festival," says Marisol Santiago, of MGH Chelsea Social Services. "This is the largest festival for the Chelsea community all year, and we are very proud to have participated in it for the last four years."
