Driving
spine tumors away The organizers of the third annual Brian D. Silber
Memorial Golf Tournament pose for a picture (below) at the reception dinner and
auction at the Hilltop Steakhouse in Saugus, following the tournament. The event, which
raised more than $90,000 for spine tumor research at the Brian D. Silber Spine Tumor
Clinic at the MGH, was held July 19 at the Colonial Country Club in Lynnfield. The
tournament is held in memory of Brian Silber, who died of a rare spine tumor at the age of
28.
