MGH doctors speak at the
President's Cancer Panel

Kurt Isselbacher, MD, director of the MGH Cancer Center, and Bruce Chabner, MD, chief of Hematology/Oncology and clinical director of the MGH Cancer Center, were two of many doctors who spoke before the President's Cancer Panel, July 19.

The President's Cancer Panel monitors the development and execution of activities of the National Cancer Program and makes recommendations to Congress and the president. Other speakers included, Albert Mulley, MD, chief of MGH Internal Medicine, James J. Mongan, MD, president of the MGH, and Howard Koh, MD, MPH, the commissioner of public health for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The MGH hosted the panel at the Schepens Eye Research Institute at Charles River Plaza.
