The MGH Blood Donor Center, located on Gray 1, is offering free ice cream sundaes to all MGHers who donate whole blood or platelets July 3 or 5. MGH donors also have a choice of a $5 coupon to Coffee Central or the Eat Street Café or a one-day parking sticker for the Lomasney Parking Garage, also known as the "bubble garage." In addition, anyone who donates platelets receive a large canvas bag, and those donating whole blood receives a sport water bottle. The MGH Blood Donor Center is in particular need of platelets July 5. Walk-in donors for whole blood are welcome; platelet donations require appointments.
