MGHers
commit to staying fit
Staff of The Clubs at Charles River Park were busy answering questions and giving tours at the MGH open house June 26. More than 200 MGHers became members of The Clubs, a full-service fitness center located adjacent to the hospital. According to Jeff Davis, senior vice president for Human Resources, The facility offers a valuable health and fitness benefit to MGH employees. "The feedback from employees who have become members has been overwhelmingly positive so far," he says. Marie Morton, of MGH Environmental Services and a new member of The Clubs, agrees: "This is the best thing the MGH could do. A healthy employee is a happy and productive employee." Employees who could not make it to the MGH open house are invited to visit The Clubs at any time to find out more about membership. For more information, call The Clubs at (617) 726-2900 or visit http://is.partners.org/hr/affiliates/mgh/fitness.html. |
