Rep. Michael E. Capuano (D), who succeeded Rep. Joseph Kennedy in the 8th US Congressional district, visited the MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center as a part of his citywide tour of Chelsea June 4. City leaders took the congressman to MGH Chelsea for a special luncheon, where he heard presentations about the health center's community benefit/city partnerships including the local police and MGH Chelsea mental health unit partnership that provides crisis intervention to children who have witnessed violence, and the school/health center partnership that provides specialized counseling and support services to refugees from Bosnia and Somalia.
