MGH health centers host health forum

Staff from MGH Chelsea and Revere HealthCare Centers recently co-hosted, with Harbor Community Health Alliance, a forum to showcase innovative community health programs in the communities of Chelsea, Revere and Winthrop. Local politicians, community leaders and residents, staff of health and human service agencies, and community health program supporters attended the forum to learn more about programs that have succeeded in improving the health of community residents.

Among the programs highlighted was MGH Chelsea's First Link Program, which brings comprehensive, culturally sensitive care into the homes of Chelsea families with a newborn; MGH Revere's Healthy Steps 0 to 3 program, which is an early intervention program for infants and toddlers who are at a high health risk; and MGH Revere and Chelsea's STD/HIV testing clinics program.
