 Hooping it up

The MGH Basketball League, which was formed almost 25 years ago, just ended another stellar season. The winning team, called the "Don't H8 Me" team (pictured below) won its second straight league championship this year, thanks in part to their coach Alan L. Brown, MD, of MGH Radiation Oncology. The league's manager, Larry Washington of MGH Police and Security, presented awards to team members. The Most Valuable Player award went to Mark Pomerantz, MD, of MGH Surgery; the Rookie of the Year award went to Adam Young, medical assistant on Cox 2; and the Best Female Player of the Year award went to Kristen Scopaz, of MGH Clinical Research. The league will recruit for new members again in September.
