    When the new MGH Knight Center for Interventional Cardiovascular Therapy opens March 1, it will offer one of the most technologically advanced cardiac catheterization facilities available in New England.
  • A new approach to destroy painful bone tumors
    About 10 months ago Rene Mares, a 45 year old from San Diego, began experiencing severe pain in his upper right leg. He turned to the Internet, where he learned about a minimally invasive procedure called radiofrequency tumor ablation being performed by Daniel Rosenthal, MD, of MGH Radiology.
  • Brezinski receives Presidential Award
    Mark Brezinski, MD, PhD, an MGH cardiologist and researcher, has been named a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.

  • Medical ICU reopens on Blake 7
    Charles Hales, MD, of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Unit, and Ann Quealy, RN, nurse manager, snip their way to the new 18-bed Medical ICU on Blake 7, which began receiving patients Feb. 23.
